A workspace per project
Workspaces you aren't looking at keep running. Layouts, names and tags come back when you restart.
PowerShell, Command Prompt, Git Bash and WSL side by side, grouped into workspaces you can split, tag and search — in one frameless black window.
A workspace per project, with PowerShell, Command Prompt, Git Bash and WSL in one grid. Name the panes, tag them, and switch projects with CtrlAlt1–9.
CtrlShiftF searches names, tags and output across every workspace, including terminals you closed weeks ago. Narrow it with tag:, ws: or shell:.
CtrlShiftB gives the terminals the width. Hover a workspace to see its terminals; a dot tells you when one has new output.
Grab a pane by its header and drop it beside, above or below another, or on top of it to swap. A live preview shows where it lands.
Mark terminals prod or dev, with your own names and colours, so the dangerous ones stand out and are easy to find.
Termilly finds PowerShell, Command Prompt, Git Bash and each of your WSL distros. Open one with a click, or CtrlShift1–9.
Workspaces and history are encrypted with AES-256 and unlock with your Windows account. Nothing leaves your PC, and secrets can be swapped for [redacted] before anything is saved.
Dark, light, or follow Windows. The terminal colours are tuned for each, so output stays readable either way.

Features
A workspace for every project, terminals you can name and tag, and one search across all of it.
Workspaces you aren't looking at keep running. Layouts, names and tags come back when you restart.
Names, tags, folders and output, open or closed. Closed terminals stay searchable for 30 days, or up to a year.
Split right with AltShift=, down with AltShift-, then drag panes wherever you want them.
Double-click a header to rename it. Tag terminals so production never looks like a sandbox.
AES-256, unlocked by your Windows account, with a recovery code if an admin ever resets your password.
No chunky title bar, just terminals edge to edge. It moves, snaps and maximizes like any window, on every monitor.
Keyboard first
Every action has a shortcut. These are the ones you'll use a hundred times a day.
Roadmap
Termilly is young. Here's what just shipped, and what we're building next.
Any command as a profile, with its own folder, environment variables and tags. Every host in ~/.ssh/config is there too, opened with OpenSSH; production ones start tagged prod.
Already there: a spinner next to a terminal's title while a command runs or Claude Code is working. Next: Claude Code, Codex and other agents report when they're waiting or done, with a “needs me” queue and notifications.
Workspaces, names and tags already come back after a restart. Next: the shells themselves keep running, with their scrollback.
The same calm workspace, on every machine you use.
Preview builds will be published here. Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
